40 Years of Outlaws

1987-2027 | 40 Years of Horsepower

Forty years ago, it started with a simple idea: put on exciting motorsports entertainment and give the crowd a show worth remembering.

Since 1987, Performance Promotions has taken motorsports entertainment to communities across Canada. Along the way, the shows have evolved from tractor pulls, mud bogs and traditional grandstand entertainment into monster trucks, freestyle motocross, demolition derbies, Tuff Trucks, Mini Monsters and major touring productions.

The equipment has changed. The technology has changed. The size and scope of the productions have changed.

The reason we do it hasn’t.

It’s Always Been About the Crowd

We love horsepower. We love monster trucks. We love motorcycles flying upside down through the air.

But the real reason we’ve been able to do this for 40 years is the fans.

It’s the kid seeing a monster truck up close for the first time. The family getting autographs at the Pit Party. The hometown Tuff Truck driver hearing the crowd cheer. The fan who’s been coming to our shows for years and is now bringing their own kids.

Those are the moments that have made the last four decades worth it.

Four Decades on the Road

Producing motorsports entertainment means early mornings, late nights, long drives, dirt, mud, broken equipment and solving problems nobody in the grandstand ever sees.

It also means standing at the back of a packed grandstand and hearing thousands of people react at the same time.

After 40 years, that feeling never gets old.

The Outlaws Family

Outlaws of Motorsports has always been about more than one person, one truck or one show.

It’s a team of crew members, drivers, riders, announcers, track builders, promoters, sponsors, venues, fairs, exhibitions, volunteers and families who come together event after event.

Some have been part of the ride for decades. Others are just joining us.

Together, they’re Team Outlaw.

Thank You for 40 Years

To every fan who bought a ticket, every kid who asked for an autograph, every driver and rider who put on a show, every crew member who worked behind the scenes, every sponsor who supported us and every community that welcomed the Outlaws:

THANK YOU.

We’re proud of the first 40 years.

Now let’s make some noise for what’s next.
